Angelo was an amazing Grandpa. Since he was home all the time he had nothing better to do with his time until his grandson came along. Angelo doted on him so much it got to the point where Gretchen had to practically rush into the nursery to make it there before Angelo did! Still, Gretchen was glad for the break. She was in her third trimester already, even though she was so small, and her back was killing her. While she was headed to the bathroom she received a text from her sister, Charlotte, asking her to bring her whole family over to her house to celebrate her birthday! The whole extended family arrived at the party soon after. Ruby and Castiel could find a babysitter for Opal so they could make it. Unfortunately Stark and Isabella were the only ones that could make it in their family because Grace had to watch Aldo. Everyone had headed into the house and Damen had went out back to get away from the crowded inside. He ended up finding Elsa on the monkey bars with a sad pout on her face. Elsa climbed down and turned around to find her Uncle standing there, so in order not to make it awkward, Damen waved at the little girl and gave her a pained smile. With her bottom lip quivering she asked, Elsa: Who are you? Damen: I'm your Uncle Damen. What's your name? Elsa: Mommy and Momma said you're a big meanie butt. Damen could feel his eye twitch as her talked through his clenched teeth, Damen: And why would they say that? Elsa: Momma said you took Auntie Gretchen away from her, and Mommy said that you were really mean to her when she was a kid like me. Just then she heard Charlotte call her name and Elsa skipped away into the house without another word to her Uncle, leaving Damen in stunned silence. He stood there wondering if that's how his family thought of him. Meanwhile in the front yard Charlotte was gushing over Gretchen bulging baby bump. Charlotte: Omygod sis, I can't believe you're already having another baby! Gretchen: Well I can't believe you and Charlotte adopted a baby! Charlotte laughed nervously and bent down to pat Gretchens stomach, Charlotte: Well I always wanted a kid of my own and Charlotte did too. Plus we had the money so we were like, what the plum, let's get a baby! Gretchen grabbed her sister in a tight embrace, Gretchen: I want you to know that you can come over whenever you want. With Damen leaving longer and longer on trips to the unknown it gets kind of boring at the house, even thought Angelo is a sweet old man. Charlotte patted her sisters back and nodded her head, Charlotte: Well since we both have kids now it will give us more excuses to hang out! Everyone finally headed into the house and Damen had gotten up from sitting beside Gretchen, to go use the bathroom. He got halfway across the room before Stark stopped in front of him and looked him dead in the eyes and whispered, Stark: Your eyes look like cold rocks but I know that your heart is like a terrible monsoon. Damen's face paled, Damen: What are you talking about? Where did you here that plum? Stark smiled broadly, Stark: That little fairies told me they know how you really are Damen. It's okay I won't tell. Stark left Damen standing there to go sit down in between Gretchen and Lucy. Damen hurried out of the room to the bathroom and grasped the sides of the sink. He was shaking. Damen looked up into the mirror and clinched his hands until his knuckles went white. Damen: Grow a pair man. Your cousin is insane and has no idea what he's talking about. Let it go. It was finally time for Charlotte to celebrate her adult birthday! There was a white cake that was made for the occasion but Elsa had already gotten into it without telling anyone so Charlotte had to bake another cake for C. The rest of the day was amazing. Damen even cracked a smile once or twice! Everyone caught up on what was going on with each others families. Although they got together on a regular basis, and Gretchen kept up with Ruby, Grace, and both the Charlottes through texting and phone calls, they couldn't help but be excited to be around family. The next morning it was Cian's birthday! Gretchen was so excited to see her little boy all grown up that she could barely contain it. Gretchen: Come on sweet pea, come meet your Mommy! Cian Belle rolled the Gloomy trait ,just like his father did at his age, and wants to be an Artistic Prodigy, but he so far hasn't shown that gloomy trait at all. Cian: Okay awesome! You have your cool clothes on, and your a big kid now! Imma go ask Mommy if I can invite my cousins over to play, since it is my birthday after all! When he went to go ask Gretchen she of course said yes because that means she could invite over Grace and both Charlottes too, which meant some girl time for herself. Cian: Okay guys, I'm gonna be the captain and you guys are the ones that scrub the poop deck! Elsa: Ewwww what's a poop deck? I don't wanna scrub it! Isabella: I think he means we're the ones that gotta clean the ship, Elsa. Elsa: Nuh uh no way! I don't even like cleaning up my room! Cian: Fine, fine. Just make sure we don't get attacked by a sea monster! The cousins all went outside to play the rest of the day. They got along so well that when it was time to leave they begged their moms if they could stay the night. After some careful consideration and trips back to the house for overnight bags, the kids were allowed to stay the night at the Belle Estate. Isabella: Slow down Cian! How did you get so fast? You just grew up! Cian: Maybe I'm part monkey or something! That night Angelo tried to gather up all the kids in the living room so they could all lay down and watch a movie, but for a man his age, that's easier said than done. Cian: Grandpa, Grandpa! Why are you so old? Will I get that old? Can I have cool grey hair like you too? Elsa: Yea Grandpa! Do I get to eat cake all the time like you do when I'm your age?! Angelo: Okay I'm going to answer these questions in order. I'm old because I worked out a lot in my younger days it I was very healthy, yes you will get old but maybe not as old as me, yes you will get awesome grey hair, and of course! When you're as old as me you can eat anything you want! Finally the kids settled down for the night but the craziness didn't stop at all. The next morning Cian snuck into his mom and dads room and proclaimed loudly, Cian: Mommy can you make us all french toast?! Gretchen rolled over on her side and squinted up at her son, Gretchen: Give Mommy five minutes baby. Damen growled and rolled over to the other side of the bed. Gretchen: You better get out of here before you make your Father very upset Cian. Cian nodded his head quickly and raced out of the room. Standing outside the door listening in were Elsa and Isabella and all of them jumped for joy when they heard the mission was accomplished. Right in the middle of Gretchen cleaning up after this mornings breakfast she started to feel the all to familiar pains of labor. She quickly went to put the trash in the trash can and rushed upstairs to the nursery. And out comes the next child! Another boy! Gretchen: Oh hello there! Another boy, huh? You're going to be called Myles. You have a big brother Myles and he will always take care of you, just like Mommy will. Hopefully Mommy will get pregnant two more times and you'll be a big brother yourself! With the birth of a new baby there was also some birthdays of some other Belle children! Opal, Castiel and Rubys daughter, aged up into a Squeamish Artistic Prodigy. Opal also has a thing for animal print clothing too. And here we have Aldo, Stark and Graces second child, who grew up to be a Perfectionist and a Rambunctious Scamp!
