Charlotte looked at her despondent sister and sighed in frustration. They had been in this new house for a couple weeks and yet she still went around the house moping. Charlotte hadn't seen her sister smile once. She thought that doing some home remodeling might help but Gretchen just replied with "We have to stay under the radar, nothing to flashy." and went on her way. The house was sparsely furnished and hardly lit, thanks to the cheap lights they had installed. Charlotte: Gretchen! I'm sick of you moping around, you know we can't go back to our own family. We have to make our life here. Got it? Gretchen looked at her sister is sad disbelief. She knew that Charlotte thought of things on the practical side but she acted like she didn't care that they had left everything. They could never seen their families again! Gretchen: Don't you even care that we won't see anyone ever again? Our own families? Charlotte sighed and rubbed her face with her hands, Charlotte: Of course I care. But we have to make our lives here now, we have a fresh start and we should make it count. Gretchen nodded and then a slow smile crept across her face and she looked at sister, Gretchen: Sooo...did that girl you were afraid to message ever respond? Charlotte's eyes went wide and she cleared her throat nervously, Charlotte: Um, yea...yea she did and I asked her to come over here... Gretchen: That's great! I can't wait to meet her! Charlotte mumbled, Charlotte: Yea me neither.. Back at the Belle Estate, Castiel had just gotten a text from his cousins, Stark, telling him to meet him at his new house. Castiel was confused at this late request considering it was close to 10:00 pm. He shrugged and texted Stark back saying he would be there as soon as possible. Castiel: Hey man! What's up? You have a sweet house right here! Stark: Hey dude! I wanted to invite you over to be a witness! Castiel looked at Stark confused. He knew his cousin was insane and thought that maybe he was having an episode. Castiel: Uh...for what? Stark: Well I'm getting married! Castiel looked around and then spotted an extremely blonde girl walking out of the house. She was decked out in all pink, even her eye shadow was pink. Before Castiel could even say hi the girl said with a matter of fact tone, Grace: Hi my names Grace and I love the color pink! Castiel: Hi Grace, my names Castiel and I'm pretty sure you already knew that I'm Stark's cousin. Grace: It's so great to finally meet you! Stark interjected and started to talk about how Grace was a cheerleader at their old highschool and they had met back then and messed around quite a bit but it was nothing serious. Then when they got out of highschool Stark had went to the neighborhood diner and seen her working there as a waitress and decided to start the spark up again. Castiel: Well that's great and really sweet but how are you two going to get married with no one around? Grace shrugged her shoulders, Grace: Well we both just wanted it as us two but he wanted at least one witness so that's why my boo bear called you! Castiel stifled a laugh when Grace called Stark "boo bear", Stark: Well then let's get this show on the road! The "ceremony" didn't last that long. They just said their vows that they had created for each other and then exchanged rings. When they said bye Stark gave Castiel the biggest hug ever and Grace came up and hugged him and kissed his cheek. Castiel: Welcome to the family Grace, I hope you can handle us. The next morning Grace had a queasy feeling in her stomach and excitedly she took a pregnancy test and it came out positive! They were going to be bringing in the first child for the third generation of Belles! Here's a CAS view of Grace. Castiel wasn't kidding when he said she was all decked out in pink! Her traits are: -Romantic -Cheerful -Good When Castiel got home it was almost 1 am so he headed up to his room to fall asleep. But the next morning Sunny started to interrogate him about where he had been last night. So he knew that he had to tell his mom about what had happened last night. Right in the middle of the conversation he had gotten a text from Stark that was in all caps saying, "I'M GONNA BE A DADDY" Castiel laughed when he looked at his phone and Sunny looked at him incredulously, Sunny: What is it? Castiel: Oh well they just got married last night, like I was telling you, and now Grace is already expecting. Sunny inhaled sharply and clapped her hands, Sunny: Ohhhh that's so exciting! I love babies! Sometimes I wish I had more children, but I'm just happy to have been blessed with two handsome boys. They talked a little bit longer about the rest of the family, Sunny of course avoiding the subject of her brother, and then Castiel remembered something. Castiel: Hey mom isn't your birthday today? Sunny groaned and threw her head back, Sunny: Yes! But I don't want to get old! Castiel: Mom no one WANTS to get old. I tell you what, I'll go bake you a cake and we can celebrate together. I know dad won't be home from work for a while, and I have no plumming idea where Damen is- Sunny: Language! Just because you're an adult doesn't mean you can start talking like that in front of your mother. Castiel's ears got hot, just like they always have done since he was a child when he got embarrassed, Castiel: Sorry momma. Castiel did his best job making a cake. He hardly had ever cooked in his life. The pink icing was lopsided and there were to many sprinkles but Sunny didn't care. It was the effort that counted. She grabbed a handful of hair in her hand and took one last look at her honey blonde locks. She sighed, inhaled deeply and closed her eyes, blowing out the candles that would lead her into elder hood. Here we have elder Sunny! Still looking as pretty as ever, I might add! After Sunny had changed her clothes she had been laying on her bed moping for a few hours. She hated being old. Her back hurt all the time and every time she got up she could hear her knees crack. Involuntarily she started to doze off when she heard her bedroom door open up. Sunny sat up and rubbed her eyes to see Angelo standing in the doorway staring at her. Self consciously she smoothed out her long skirt and pushed her hair behind her ear. Silently Angelo lifted up his hand, holding it out to her, beckoning her to take it. When she reached up to take it he grabbed her and brought her close to him. Angelo: When did you get so beautiful sunshine? Sunny blushed and looked around the room nervously. It was amazing how he still made her get butterflies in her heart when he did stuff like this. Sunny: Well I had my birthday while you were at work, so now I'm old. Angelo looked deeply into her eyes and sternly said, Angelo: You don't look a day older. You still look like that feisty blonde I saw running on the treadmill at the gym who, if I might add, has a great butt. Sunny burst out laughing at that remark which caused Angelo to smile broadly. He brought her close to him and gave her a loving kiss. Holding her in his arms for quite a while. Angelo knew that their time was growing short and he wanted to spend as much of it as he could with his sunshine. Still beaming from their encounter Sunny went into the kitchen to make some dinner when she saw her other son, Damen. Sunny: Hey sweetheart! Where have you been all day? Damen: WOAH. Mom you got OLD. Sunny's smile faltered slightly but she asked him the same question again and this time he answered, Damen: Oh well I was out for a long jog and I think I'm going to head to the park before I have to go to work. Before Sunny could protest and ask her son to stay in for the day he had already put his glass in the sink and was heading out the door. Ever since he broke up with Noemi he had been playing the field and he was quite proud of his accomplishments. He was able to bag and tag, so to speak, 5 more women. One of which was married. He met most of them at bars where they were desperately looking for a handsome man to take their troubles away. So far he hadn't encountered any problems with getting with any of them and leaving right after. Thank the Creator too, because he did NOT want another Noemi on his hands. While he was about to head to another stake out location for fresh meat he noticed a girl standing near the edge of the road looking a little lost. He waited for her to move and with a confused look on her face she just headed to a near by picnic table, sat down, and took her phone out. Damen knew this was the time to pounce. When he walked over and sat down the girl looked up at him and smiled nervously. Damen: Hi, my name's Damen Belle. What's yours? Gretchen: Um..my name's Gretchen. Damen: Pretty name, for a pretty face. Gretchen looked at Damen in surprise and ignored that statement. She had met guys like him before in her line of work so she was use to them. Gretchen: Wait you said your last name is Belle? As in the legacy of the Belles? Damen huffed, annoyed at the fact every time he said his last name people automatically knew who he was. Damen: Yea, yea same legacy. Gretchen was automatically intrigued and started to barrage him with questions about his past. Annoyed, yet again, Damen tried to change the subject to something more romantic. Damen: So are you single, sweet thing? Gretchen: Yea I am. Me and my twin sister just moved here from...uh...Riverview? Gretchen didn't want to let people know where she really came from, just in case her father couldn't keep the cops off and they had somehow found out about her and her sister. Damen: That's nice baby. Damen got up and sat back down next to her, pressing his leg onto her leg and he slowly laid his hand on top of her thigh. Gretchen, taken aback by this sudden change of events, got automatically mad. She knew that he looked like one of those guys in the bars that buzzed around like flies trying to pick up whatever sad woman they could find, but she was not like those woman. She was a proud Bloomer. Gretchen got up quickly and smiled politely at Damen, Gretchen: Well I have to go now. And you should probably act more like a gentleman if you want to get a nice girl. I already read the local newspaper and know you're the next heir. Damen was shocked at the sudden rebuttal that this girl had, and opened his mouth to say something but she interrupted him and continued talking, Gretchen: By the way, maybe you should get your priorities straight and stop being a bar fly and picking up sad middle aged woman to take home and find a nice girl that you could actually marry and continue your families legacy. Yea I know what you're about to say, "How did you know that Gretchen?" Well it's not that hard to read you, you're like a plumming open book. And with that Gretchen marched off. She felt better about putting a guy like him in his place, but she couldn't deny that he was handsome and she understood how he got woman so easily. But like she had said, she was a proud girl and not that easily caught up by the likes of him. Flabbergasted, Damen headed home from the park. He had no want to try and find anymore woman that day because he was so intrigued with the one he had just met. When he got home he headed up to his room and sat on the bed thinking about what she had said. It was the first time in his life that someone told him he couldn't have something and it felt weird. Yet it made him want her more. Her feisty nature and how she didn't melt like butter when he touched her made him strengthen his resolve to make her his. When he went to sleep that night he tossed and turned from having nightmares about what that girl had said. All that was playing in his head was how he was the heir and he had let the legacy die with him. He kept waking up in cold sweats because of it. Damen didn't care about the legacy so why was he having nightmares about what she said? The next day Angelo was staring at himself in the bathroom mirror. He had his teams jersey on and he was just looking at how old he had gotten. He was looking at the wrinkles that weren't there before and how he had gotten slightly flabby. Angelo leaned against the sink and took out his phone. He decided it was time to call his agent. Angelo: Hey. Yea it's me. Yea about that...I was thinking it was time I retire. I'm not as young as I once was and there are a ton of kids who can out run me now. Yea. Okay. Thanks. Yea, bye. Still sad about having to retire, Angelo changed out of his clothes and headed to the kitchen. Castiel was in there eating lunch and a thought occurred to him. He didn't have any grandchildren yet! Angelo: Hey Cas, is there a special woman in your life? Castiel: Uh...no dad, why? Angelo: Well I'm getting old and so is your mom and we don't have any grandkids! Castiel: Well I uh- Just then the doorbell rang. The two looked at each other and Angelo pointed at the door telling Castiel to go ahead and get it. When he went outside there was a formally dressed girl standing on his front porch. She was very beautiful and it made Castiel not be able to say anything at first, which in turn made the girl look quite uncomfortable. Girl: Uh...Hey...I need help. I'm kind of lost. I just moved here and I went to the grocery store to pick up some things up and now I can't find my way back. Castiel snapped out of his daze, Castiel: Oh well, where do you live? The girl blushed a bright red and looked around nervously, Girl: Well I haven't exactly memorized my address either... Castiel: Well that's okay I can help you find it. You have to just let me drive though because I know my way around this neighborhood. The girl said okay and they spent the next hour trying to find her house. Finally when they had found it, they both got out and stretched their legs. Neither one of them expected it to take that long to find the house. Castiel: So this whole time I never got your name. Ruby: Oh well my name is Ruby Yamamoto. I just moved here from Sunset Valley. They were running out of job opportunities and I heard this neighborhood was fairly new. Castiel nodded his head in response. Then she looked at him expectantly, Castiel: OH! Yea, sorry. My name is Castiel Belle and I've lived here my whole life. Ruby grabbed her chin and looked like she was trying to remember something, then she clapped her hands together,
Ruby: The Belles! I've heard of you! You guys are quite famous! I read in the newspaper that your brother won the heirship instead of you. I'm sorry to hear that. Castiel shrugged and massaged the back of his neck, Castiel: Yea well, things happen. Trying to change the subject Castiel cleared his throat nervously, Castiel: Hey..this is kind of out there but...do you maybe want to go grab some coffee sometime soon? Maybe I could show you around town so you don't get lost again and show up on my front steps? Ruby blushed about 10 different shades of red and giggled. She started to play with her hands , looked up at Castiel and batted her eyelashes. Ruby: I would like that very much.
