Damen kept to his word, he started spending a lot more time with Gretchen although it seemed like she was more annoyed by it since he was always around her 24/7. Gretchen: Can you stop staring at me while I'm eating, it makes me self-conscious. And do you think you could like..I don't know go work on some work and give me time alone? You've been up my butt since we got up this morning. Damen: I'm sorry you're just so pretty, and I don't want to take my eyes off of you. Gretchen: How can I be pretty when I have a mouth full of food?! That night Damen invited Gretchen into the living room to watch some Simflix. He knew that Gretchen loved to watch something lighthearted and funny, the exact opposite of what he liked to watch, but he sucked it up and started to flip to the comedy section of Simflix. Damen: So how about we watch some stand-up? Gretchen: Um I thought you hated watching comedy stuff? Damen: Well I know you like it, and I want to spoil you so let's watch your favorite comedian. Gretchen: You know you don't have to not be yourself around me. I feel like you're trying to hard and it's kind of weirding me out that you aren't your usual stoic self. Damen: I thought you wanted me to try to be better? Gretchen: I mean I do don't get me wrong! But I want you to still act like yourself not this overly happy and extremely attentive guy. Damen let out a sigh of relief and slouched back into the couch, Damen: Okay thank the creator. Keeping that persona up was really starting to wear me out. Gretchen: Now that we have that settled let's watch an Action-Comedy that way we get to watch what we both like. After the movie was over Gretchen decided to make a family meal and Damen actually participated. She couldn't remember the last time he actually came and sat down at the table with his kids, her, and his Dad. Damen: And that's how I stole the prized jewels from the Queen of Al Simhara! Celine: Did you really have to fight a mummy, Daddy?! Damen: Yes I did. I was just glad it didn't curse me with it's black magic. Jax: Coooooool! Do you think you could show us the jewels, Dad? Damen: Um...well...no because they are very valuable and are in a very safe spot right now. Celine & Jax: Awwwwww.. Gretchen: Don't worry kids, if you want to go see some old artifacts we can easily go to the museum. Celine: But Mommy I hate going to the museum! They always tell you to be quiet in there! Jax: Yea! Angelo: And they don't let you touch any of the cool stuff, and if you get even remotely closer than you like you get kicked out! Damen: Dad you tried to touched the Luna Pisa... Angelo: I thought it had something on it, how many times do I have to tell people that!? After dinner was served and all the kids got to hear the amazing story of how Damen stole the Queen of Al Simharas jewel's and almost got cursed by a mummy, it was time for homework. Damen let Gretchen go to sleep early and he spent some quality time with his kids so he could help them with their homework. While he was helping them he realized how little he knew about his kids. To him all his sons looked the same and the only thing that was different about them were their clothes, and Celine looked a lot like her mother. Damen started to realize another thing that made his heart heavy. He didn't know any of his kids traits. The next day was a Saturday and it was also Cian's birthday! The kids spent the whole day together in the playroom just trying to squeeze in all the playtime they had left before Cian turned into a teenager. Myles: Cian you're still going to play with us right? Cian: Sure I will! And since you were born so close to me you will be a teenager in no time too! Myles: I know...but we'll miss playing pirates with you! Cian: Well now I can be the scary kraken! Jax: But guys who's gonna man the other cannon to take down the kraken?! Celine puffed out her chest and said triumphantly, Celine: I can man two cannons at once! We haven't gone down yet and I don't want to start now! The boys started to whoop and holler, punching the air above them with their fists. To them Celine always had the solution for everything. That night it was time to prepare for Cian's birthday and he was definitely putting Gretchen under a lot of pressure on what to cook. Cian: Okay so I want a chocolate cake, chocolate ice-cream with whipped cream and sprinkles, plus I was wondering if you could make those really good noodles that you made last week for dinner! Gretchen: O-okay, slow down there big guy, I need to make a grocery list of all these things so come with me into the kitchen and rattle off all that stuff to me again. When Gretchen got home the party was already underway and she quickly got dressed and headed into the kitchen to start cooking the cake. Angelo: Hey Gretchen is that cake I smell? Gretchen: Yes? Angelo rubbed his hands together and licked his lips, Angelo: Finally we get some cake in this house again! Damen: Dad calm down, you know you're supposed to be watching your sugar intake. Angelo: Bah! This is cake we're talking about son! The delicious, crumbly, sugar filled treat that can make any persons frown get turned upside down. Gretchen: Calm down there Angelo it's not even finished being baked yet. And remember this is CIAN's cake. Angelo: Yes, yes I know dear. It's just my wife use to make the best chocolate cake this town has ever seen and smelling the aroma in this kitchen brings back a lot of memories. For some odd reason everyone decided to hang out in the half finished study while poor Celine was just trying to play videogames. Isabella: Ugh there is nothing fun to do here! Grace: Isabella sweetie be nice, they're still renovating the house. Stark: Aldo, where did you take the purple cupcakes I was supposed to give to the flying llamas? Aldo: Ughhhhh Daaaaad, I didn't put them anywhere! You left them at home probably. Opal: Mommy why is Uncle Stark talking about flying llamas I thought they weren't real? Ruby: Uhhhh..... Celine: AW SNAP! New highscore! Woop woop! Mark: Wow cool! Are you playing the new Blicblock game?! Celine: Yea! You wanna give it a shot? My Mommy always tells me to share my toys so you can try if you want! Elsa: Just gotta take another selfie to put on Simstagram. #lamekidsparty #tocuteforyou Gretchen had finally finished making everything Cian wanted for his birthday, food wise, and called everyone into the kitchen to get a bowl or cone full of ice-cream. Charlotte: OW. Brain freeze! Gretchen: Haha! That's what you get for eating your ice-cream to fast! Charlotte playfully shoved her sister and Gretchen retaliated with sticking her tongue out at her, Opal: Cian your Mom makes the best chocolate ice-cream ever! Cian: I know right?! I swear she puts magic dust in it so it tastes this good. Finally it was time for the main event! Cian ducked and weaved through all the guests as he ran to the dining room so he could blow out his candles and finally be a teenager. Isabella shouted out into the hallway, Isabella: You guys better get in here quick! Cian is already blowing out the candles! Charlotte: Cian don't you think you should wait for everyone else? Cian: No way! I wanna be a big kid right now! Cian: Omygosh these clothes are awful. Isabella: *snickers* I don't know I think you look quite dashing. Cian: Hardyharhar. Everyone else arrived a little bit to late since Cian already had blown out the candles, but now it was time for some cake! The whole extended, and immediate, Belle family piled into the dining room and grabbed a slice of some delicious chocolate cake. Here we have the Cian all grown up with some clothes on that he actually likes! Cian grew up to gain the Good trait and wants to be an Angling Ace! So far Gretchen's Mean trait and Damen's Evil trait haven't shown up in any of the kids. (Thank god.) Cian: Awww yea. Gotta take a selfie for my new Simbook page! Bam! Look at those muscles! Everyone had left the party except for Charlotte she hung back so she could catch up with her sister. Since they didn't live together anymore they hardly got to speak. Charlotte: You know I can help you clean up the kitchen and dining room if you want? Gretchen: No sis, I couldn't ask that of you. Go home to Elsa and Charlotte I know they're probably wondering where you are. Charlotte: Alright...well text me if you ever wanna go out for coffee or anything. Love you. Gretchen: Love you too sis, drive safe! Gretchen had gone to sleep and decided not to clean up everything and leave it for tomorrow. She was dead tired and just wanted to curl up in her bed and drift off to sleep. Little did anyone in the house know, but someone had stayed up extra late just to grab another slice of cake.
Angelo: Ahhhh yes! Hello cake, my old friend. You are going to have a nice home in my stomach. Now don't you worry you'll have one or two more of your friends following suit!
