Welcome to the first chapter of Generation 4! Thank you all so much for sticking around this long and I wanted you all to know I appreciate each and every one of you. Let’s get on with the show now, shall we? Life at Belle house was filled with love and weddings. Being the oldest Cian took it into his own hands to set up a little wedding arch in the corner of the family lot so he could get married to Jessie. They got married in the dark of the night with just the two of them, since they wanted it to be private. It was a short and sweet ceremony that didn’t last very long. After exchanging their vows they both decided to try out the new hot tub that Celine had installed. And by try out I mean they woohoo’d the night away. The next morning Jessie wasn’t feeling exactly like herself and she had an inkling what was wrong with her. Hurriedly she reached under the sink in the bathroom and sat down to take the pregnancy test. It came out positive! Jessie: I guess that’s what we get for staying up all night! Immediately she ran into the room to tell Cian. She still got a little freaked out by the fish on the wall, but being the outdoorsy person she was it was kinda normal, kinda being the keyword here. Jessie: Baby I’m pregnant! Cian:WHAT?! Really?! Oh for the love of plum I thought this would never happen! I’m close to being an adult and I wanted to have kids as soon as possible. This is amazing! We have to leave now though. I don’t want this house to be cramped with me you and our little one on the way, plus the rest of my family. Jessie: Well I’ll start packing our bags! Shortly after eating lunch, and a bout of morning sickness from Jessie, they both set off to their first house alone together. Shortly after moving in they both welcomed home a sweet little boy named Troy. Jax and Elisa were glued to the hip together as usual and Jax finally got to use that ring he picked up from the jeweler. Elisa: It’s so shiny! Jax: That’s what legacy money buys baby! Not wanting to waste any time they eloped right then and there on the front porch. Elisa already had her own place, and Jax didn’t have that much stuff so they immediately moved in together. Now Myles and Meilin were actually the first couple to go off on their own. They started renting a quaint little trailer in Oasis Springs, which also made them the first ever set of Belles to move out of Newcrest! They haven’t gotten married yet and they’re not sure if they ever will. Both of them are just happy right now being in each others presence. Since all the kids had moved out without telling Gretchen she was a little annoyed. They were her kids after all and she understood they all wanted their own lives, but for Creator's sake tell your Mother first! Gretchen: What next are you gonna leave me? Celine: Momma! I would never leave you! I’m the heir remember? I kinda have to stay here. Gretchen: Speaking of being the heir, did you invite that boy you're engaged to over like I asked? Celine: Yes, Momma he’s on his way. Before Gretchen could say another word Jensen McCoy casually strolled into the living room and plopped down on the sofa. Jensen: How are you two beautiful women doing this afternoon? Gretchen smiled and shook her hand at him, Gretchen: A flatterer as usual Jensen. I asked Celine to bring you here so I could get her to ask you a very important question. Celine: Momma let me ask! Jensen: Ask me what? Celine: Well me and Momma were wondering if you wanted to move in with us! I know we aren’t married yet and stuff...but we are engaged so it’ll be okay! What do you say? Jensen: Well I have been staying at that hotel you originally met me at for a while...so I say sure! Let me just go grab my bag and I’ll meet you guys back here. As Jensen got up to leave he leaned over and planted a soft kiss on Celine's forehead which promptly caused her insides to melt. She let out a soft sigh as she watched him leave. A couple days after moving in Jensen finally decided on what kind of job he wanted. After the initial interview process he was finally part of the team! Being a cop wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. He thought he would be out on the streets kicking butt and taking names, but instead he was sitting at a desk constantly logging in fingerprints to the criminal database. After about a month on the force Jensen finally was able to go to his first crime scene, and man was it a doozy. Two chalk outlines were drawn outside of a club in Oasis Springs suggesting that there was a brawl of some sort and some people didn’t make it out of there alive. Following his training, Jensen went upstairs to collect witness reports. Who does he see? Well none other than his soon to be brother-in-law, Myles. Jensen: So can you tell me what happened here Myles? Myles: Well I was up here with Meilin having a drink and then these two guys just started fighting each other and it got so out of hand they fell out of the window! Jensen glanced over at the wall that Myles was pointing at, and sure enough the glass window was shattered and it right under it were those chalk outlines. Jensen: Do you have any idea why they were fighting? Myles: I don’t know. They both looked rugged and smelled funny. One guy took out some pictures and showed it to the other guy and that’s when it all started. Jensen: Did you catch a look at the pictures? Myles: Nah, sorry I didn’t. After gathering a bag of evidence from one of the other officers on the scene, Jensen went back and started to analyze the evidence. Jensen: I literally have no idea what I’m doing. Why the plum would they assign me to this job? Over the intercom Jensen heard his name being called to the lobby of the police station. When he glanced at the receptionist she pointed towards a lady with stick straight black hair and a little bit too much blue eyeshadow. At first Jensen didn’t recognize her but as she turned around he realized it was Celines cousin, Elsa Bloomer. Jensen: How may I help you today Mrs.Bloomer? Elsa: Well I could have sworn I just saw someone taking pictures of me and my daughter while we were at the park. Jensen: Do you know what he looked like? Elsa: He was wearing a baseball cap and shades so I didn’t get a good look. Jensen: Well I’ll file this report and if it happens again, come over here and tell me okay? Looking around nervously Elsa nodded her head and motioned for her daughter, Clementine, to come to her so they could leave. The rest of Jensen's day was not as eventful, except for when he was patting down convicts and found an abnormally large object on one. Jensen: Do I even want to know how you got this in here? Convict: All I can say is I wouldn’t touch it if I were you. He also took another ridiculous report from the same woman who kept coming in here almost every other day. Finally to top off his stressful day at work Jensen came home to hear the wailing of his fiancee. Without a moment's thought he rushed to the sound of the crying and found that Gretchen had passed away in the dining room while drinking a glass of orange juice. Celine was inconsolable and couldn’t even speak through her crying. When the Reaper showed up Celine sobbed and sobbed begging him to give her Mom one last day with them. One day is all she asked. Begrudgingly the Reaper accepted and put Gretchen's soul back into her body. Without wasting a beat, Celine rushed over to her Mom and brought her in for the biggest hug ever. Celine: Oh Momma I’m so glad I could save you, I didn’t want you to go yet! Gretchen: Oomph, baby be careful. Your Momma is really old and you’re hurting my back. Celine: I don’t care! I wanna hug and squeeze you and never let you go! Gretchen smiled as her body filled up with warmth and love for her daughter. She gently pet Celines head as tears started to stream down her face. Only if she could live a little bit longer… The next day Jensen was extremely tense as he went to work. The other officers issued an APB and he immediately went looking for the criminal. When he pulled up in the squad car he saw a larger man automatically turn and try and walk away from him. That’s when the chase began. It wasn’t long before the man was going to be handcuffed. He was in no way, shape, or form more fit than Jensen was. After getting home and changing, he saw Celine lounging on the sofa in her pajamas watching the comedy channel. As he stood in the threshold of the living room staring at his fiancee, he couldn’t help but think how beautiful she was. She was as tan as a surfer with blonde hair to boot. He crossed his arms and said, Jensen: How did I get so lucky? Celine almost jumped out of her skin, but instead she fell on the floor. Scrambling back up onto the sofa Celine peeked over and realized who it was, Celine: Good Creator Jensen! You scared the plum out of me! Why are you home so late? Jensen shrugged his shoulders as he casually strolled over the the sofa and plopped down, Jensen: The rest of the boys issued an APB on a perp so I went to get him. Celine: Did you really find him? Jensen: Yep. That’s one last bad guy off the street. Celine slithered under his arm and looked at him, Celine: Well since you got the bad guy, I wanted to ask you something really important. Jensen: Shoot. Celine: Well you know my Mom almost passed away the other day and I was wondering if we could get married tomorrow. Just so she could attend, ya know? Jensen squeezed her shoulder and brought her forehead to his, Jensen: Whatever you want baby. I’m not good at planning stuff so if you have everything together I’d be more than happy to. Unfortunately that would never happen. Before Gretchen could even make it to the door from work that night she passed away on the sidewalk with only one witness. You will be missed Gretchen Bloomer-Belle. You were one of the best spouses this legacy has ever seen! While taking out the trash Celine saw the urn on the sidewalk and automatically knew whose it was. Quickly she gathered it up, plus all of her parents pictures and took them down to the crypt. There were already tables waiting for their urns and after setting everything up Celine stepped back.
Celine: Momma, Daddy. I will make you guys proud. I’ll contribute as much as I can to this legacy and make this generation one of the best! Wherever you guys are I hope you guys can give me guidance and hope in tough times. I really miss you both, and I love you. With that ends the reign of one of the most tumultuous heirs in Belle history to date. May the generation 3 heir and spouse rest in piece.
